Why we do what we do?

Ā

At The Hit, we believe in music education done differently. First, we don't sell any products or instruments because we like to concentrate our energy and time on our main passion: music lessons. Additionally, weĀ foster our student's passion for learning by teaching them current songs that they hear every day. We are called The Hit because we love to get our students to play their favorite ā€œhit" songs in the shortest time possible while having fun and learning the fundamentals of music such as reading notation and music theory.

What instruments do we offer lessons for?

We offer music lessons for piano, singing, guitar, drums, ukulele, and bass.

For piano, singing, and guitar we have both group and private lessons.

For ukulele, drums, and bass we only offer private lessons.

How do we bill our lessons and what is the cost?

Our lessons are billed monthly and in advance with no contracts.

We charge a one-time $39.50 registration fee ($25 each for additional siblings)

Group lessons are $19.50 for a 45-minute class (Billed monthly)

Private lessons are $29.50 for a 30-minute classĀ  (Billed monthly)

We do not charge for days we are closed, like holidays, winter break, or spring break, but we do require a once-a-week minimum class during the same time and day to provide consistency. This consistency aids in each student's development and ensures our instructors maintain a steady schedule.

Our business hours are:

Saturdays:Ā 9:00 am to 3:00 pmĀ

Sundays: Closed

What is the best piano for beginner?

61 keys? 88 weighted action? Touch-sensitive? In this article, we share our best tips for finding a great piano that suits your needs.

Can we do a free Trial?

After more than a decade in business, we have found that our money-back guarantee is a much better option than a free trial. Here is how it works:

Sign up for lessons, pay the registration fee, and have up to the end of your second scheduled class to ask for a full refund (including your registration). In essence, we offer you two complete lessons to test our service and make an informed decision if you wish to continue to learn with us.

Meet one of our Piano Students

We love to showcase the talent and hard work of our students so our potential customers can hear directly from them what it is like to take lessons at The Hit. In this video, we talk to Athena, one of our nine-year-old piano and ukulele students from Weston, and get some insight into how much she is enjoying her time with us.
